Due to the nature of my work as a Radio Station DJ, sometimes I need to work around the clock and even soft contact lens made my eyes watery and red. After the initial assessment, the Ophthalmologist told me that I am suitable to have Lasik but I needed to stop wearing my soft lens for about a week for the full pre-operative examination. On the day of surgery, I got there about 1and 1/2 hour before my schedule. I was quite nervous, the nurses were kind enough to calm me and put anesthetic eye drops to my eyes to prepare me for the operation. The surgery took less than 20 minutes and when I got to the recovery room, I can see very clearly already, I even drove the next day.
